We're always enthralled to hear new work by legend Jake Williams. Throughout his illustrious career spanning two decades, he's presented the most impressive takes on everything from trance (under the infamous JX moniker), prog house as the short lived Oblik and now in his greatest incarnation as Rex The Dog - where for the last several years he's presented some dynamic takes on techno and electro by use of his deep modular setup. On his new one "Crasher" he serves up some moody dancefloor drama like only this veteran can. A tunnelling and bleepy sonar transmission that you could imagine label head honcho Michael Mayer dropping mid set. Second offering "Hold It/Control It" is a more uplifting affair with a good dose of funk that will have you bopping away to its blips and beeps and jacking vocals.Get new release alerts
