Rey & Kjavik are Frankfurt based producers Isak Kjavik and Magnus Rey who present their new single "Baba City" on their eponymous imprint. This exotic composition bridges the gap between world music and deep house with its exotic and esoteric vibe; will certainly appeal to fans of the Crosstown Rebels sound too! It also gets a bunch of stellar remixes which are equally worthy of your attention. Aussie in Berlin Uone appears not once but twice, while Connaisseur Recordings regulars Chris Lynch and Vegard Wolf Dyvik aka Of Norway deliver an infectious and irresistible slice of glistening nu-disco on their rendition. Berlin's Ulrich Harrison aka Hrrsn's rendition also stood out, where the young producer turns in a version that features shimmering arpeggios, dustier beats and emotive elements.Get new release alerts
