Raphael Ripperton's success has been built on an ability to create slick, emotion-rich house music that joins the dots between crackly European tech and the warm, floor-friendly deepness of the USA. "Let's Hope" is a great example of his art. In its original form, it builds incessantly over 12 lovingly crafted minutes, wrapping vintage synth-strings and piano solos around a sturdy, tribal-influenced groove. Incidentally, the track's main breakdown will have the hairs on the back of your neck standing to attention.
