For his third release on esteemed label Echocord, it sounds like Roberto Clementi is taking a leaf from the Fachwerk book of techno production. This approach is most audible on "Fifty HF", where the Italian producer drops shaking, niggling percussion and woozy organ solos over a tight, stepping rhythm. Close your eyes and it could be Mike Dehnert or Roman Lindau. The title track doesn't wear its influences so clearly, and reverts to Echocord's in-house sound. A repetitive chord stab and some woozy synths play away in the background as Clementi drops tight percussion and an insistent, shaking rhythm that oozes funk.
