G13 co-captain Rowney headbutts 2019 in style with this monster four track new year attack. The name of the EP says it all; obscenely proportioned thumpers, all fine tune and riff primed to cause ultimate chaos and mix switch ups. "Heavy Business" smacks with the same fun and heat of a 2003 G Dub or Twisted tune, "Need To" continues the addictive riff buzz with more of a harmonic tone on the bass and a vaporous female vocal wafting away alluring in the mix and "Everything Bless" is a straight up buzzy roller with a classic 98 style bassline that gradually gets rougher and darker as the track develops. Finally we have "Not Happening". The cheekiest track of the set, armed with a bassline that wouldn't have gone amiss on Bingo around 2005, there's some serious mischief at play here. Don't believe a word Rowney says... It definitely IS happening.Get new release alerts
