A rare joint production from the two Cosmic Sumo bosses, 'The Boyz Of Ikaroo' landed in stores a couple of weeks ago, and now it's back with a brace of new mixes courtesy of Spanish disco stalwart James Rod and Florence, Italy's Champ De Mars. Rod's mix is all about creating dancefloor drama, opening with a simple bass throb and then just building and building from there. Champ De Mars goes for a more dreamy, euphoric and prog-tinged approach, but it's the represssed energy that bursts from every seam of Rod's mix that takes the gold for this reviewer.
