A new label known as Elswick introduces itself by releasing Dom Howard's debut Ruckspin album! Inspired by EDM synths, rave, trance and dubstep, Songs For The Time Being have a strong ambient touch too. You'll find some dubbed out sub-pop in "Over You" featuring the trance-inspired vocals of Lylli alongside some broken down EDM synths that feature the voice of Ruth Royall's whose tenor in the track lands somewhere between a Destiny's Child Beyonce and on stage Adele caught somewhere in the middle of Skream's remix to La Roux's "In For The Kill". Om Unit makes an appearance too in the bassline centric dubstepper "Mono No Aware" (with touches of New Order atmospheres in the background) with lighter and percussive numbers finding their place in "Stuck" alongside the Reichian ambient progressions of "Merced" and new classicalisms of "Janette!
