Nope, not the longhaired, foul-mouthed ex-husband of Katy Perry, this particular Mr Brand is an underground bass producer from Kent. It's a riotous EP from the get-go, with "Wobble (Wibble)" setting the tone via heavy sub, break beats and an instructional-style vocal sample. "Bare Foot" is based around a stop-start dancehall rhythm, bongo drums and a call and response bassline. Echoing early Chemicals or Prodigy, "Leap Frog" finishes things with driving electro bass and the toughest beats of all. A bruiser of an EP.Get new release alerts
