Last spotted on his own label nine months ago, Sativa Dub returns to the Hangar with two more gully-guaranteed jump-up gems: "Killa Soundboy" ignites with a vocal so processed it hits hard as part of the broader bass texture. With cool percussive rolls on the fills, there's heaps of funk to be found amid the darkness. "Originals" is equally disarming with its eerie opener that snaps open to reveal a dagger-like one-noted bass riff that grizzles with confidence. Straight-up fire.
