Young producer Seraph kicks off his Nauseous Vibez label with a pair of titanium-clad dubstep rollers. Opener "Dread" is particularly potent, delivering a brain-melting fusion of dub-sprinkled beats, industrial strength wobble and ear-piercing synth roughage. "Vile" goes deeper, showcasing Seraph's way with melody and atmosphere. While the action is still underpinned by a formidably wonky bassline, the chords, pads and melodies give it surprising depth and warmth. It's arguably the pick of the two tracks, even if it lacks the sheer drilling power of the lead cut.
