Over the past few years, Setaoc Mass has emerged as one of the UK's finest new techno producers, with releases on Figure and Work Them Records. On this latest release on his own label, he offers up a variety of takes on his percussive sound. "Light Falls" sees him marry rolling percussion with dense beats and spacey filters, while on "True Lies" a grittier, more banging approach prevails, thanks to its percussive volleys and relentless tonal bleeps. ""Eurythmic" is more stripped back and understated, but still his trademark niggling percussion laps beneath the surface, while on "Jenagan Sivakuma", he drops a frenetic, acid-soaked amalgamation of electro and techno.Get new release alerts
