SFV Acid aka Zane Reynolds has been releasing left of centre electronic music for over a decade on a variety of labels,including BAKK - and ResedaVill provides another fascinating insight into his unique musical perspectives. It starts off with the tweaked acid lines, offbeat funk and mysterious synths of "Lil_heaven(less)", before Reynolds heads into beats-y territory with 'Always (LA hardcrew mix)", which sounds like DJ Shadow on a heavy dose of acid. "405 Mary" sees Reynolds deliver a rickety rhythm and lo-fi electronic melodies, while on "Jasons II", this individualistic producer drops a dreamy, sub-aquatic piece of hip-hop that tailored for home-listening.Get new release alerts
