D-Jaw's imprint recruits an exciting new artist for its latest release. In its original version, the title track features pitched down vocals, ominous, rasping bass and a dark melody line. It's an unusual, distinctive take on house/techno. On the Gabriel Slick version, there is a straighter, more techno-focused sound, as chain mail percussion and crisp claps support the original track's vocals. D-Jaw's own take is a trip to basement techno at its finest, with an eerie sub-bass supporting a rolling rhythm and more dreamy vocals. Rounding off this unusual EP is a tougher, more pumping remix from Fresh By 6.
