Paris label Taapion delivers its fourth release, which captures the spirit of Paris' increasingly fertile techno scene. Featuring tracks by label owners Shlomo and PVNV, this instalment also welcomes Francois X. The Parisian artist drops the understated but effective "Dreaming Of The Tesseract", where lithe broken beats underpin bleak textures and ghostly howls, while Birth of Frequency impresses with his debut on the label, "Child", an understated, emotive slice of techno. So what of the artists behind Taapion?
