One of the big success stories from last year was US based producer Shogun, who followed releases on Monster Tunes by joining Armin Van Buuren's empire, and subsequently playing at the recent ASOT milestone event as part of Beyond Wonderland in LA. His production game is what makes him stand above the pack and this latest in Armind is prime example with not one, but two fresh tracks packed full of melodic goodness. Both 'Amplify' and '550' are uplifting, and warm peaktime fillers with the later taking a slightly darker route with its tech-trance influence and minor chord structure..
