Brothers John and Paul Healy are among the few techno artists who can truly claim to understand the term 'industrial'. The duo are from a small mining town in Wales, and have decided to remain there in the hope of nurturing their imperceptible sounds. They're up on RAAR for the label's fifth outing, starting off with the gargling sounds of "Quchtk", a boisterous electro-techno hybrid that's remixed by Bunker's own The Exaltics into a much colder, bleep-fuelled techno missile. "Death Robots Attack" is largely genreless, opting instead to travel at a monstrous speed, and to offer a psychedelic blend of bassy flavours. We also adore "Broken Synapse", a new and interesting way to approach the jungle domain...just like AFX has been doing for years.
