Welcome to the Sunset City remixes taken from the recent Soulpersona concept album, which explores the echelons of a society set in the idyllic fantasy land of Sunset City. The musical backdrop is inspired heavily by the disco, jazz funk, rare groove and soul of the late 70s and early 80s. The grooves are infectious and feature an uptempo score to suit the settings of a dancefloor with Princess Freesia colouring the musical canvas with her catchy hooks and vivid imagination. To add an extra dimension to an already great album Midnight Riot have sourced mixes from some heavyweights of the disco world. Top of this list and at the top of his game is John Morales who drops not one but two mixes of 'Sunset City' hotly followed up with a boogie mix of 'Over & Over' by label head Yam Who? Australian edit don Hober Mallow steps his game up with his first official remix on 'Tryin', whilst Midnight Riot's own Alan Dixon gets a big sound on his remake of 'SCPD'.
