Review
On previous outings, South Beach Recycling has largely stuck to variations on a party-starting re-edit theme. This time round, the sometime Midnight Riot producer has moved further towards outright original productions, delivering a quartet of house cuts rich in sinewy samples and choice lifts from disco, soul and funk records. It's a formula that delivers largely impressive results. We're particularly enjoying the peak-time stomp of opener "Qualified" - think filter-heavy disco-house with chopped-up '80s soul samples - and the jazzy bump of "Suite & Sour", where impeccable electric piano solos ride a thunderous rhythm track. That said, we're sure many people will enjoy the seductive shuffle and sun-kissed, glassy-eyed vocal samples of Adriatic-inspired cut "Tisno" - we certainly did.Get new release alerts
