With glorious predictability, Sasse's Moodmusic imprint starts 2011 with another strong release. In its original form, "Speak Your Mind" is a cute little vocal number that peps up a typically Germanic groove with some subtle ivory-tinkling and zippy synth lines. It's good, but the remixes are even better. Of most interest are the takes from Axel Borman (excellent deep house with a touch of nu-disco bounce) and Kitty Ballroom. The latter's glitchy, organic tech-house rub (backwards strings, harp samples and weird vocal cut-ups) sounds like a less dainty take on Nicholas Jaar's trademark sound.
