Historically within electronic music, January is notoriously difficult to get together solid releases, as the world awakens from it's New Year's slumber. However, Spekrfeks has put together a fantastic box of work with this brand new album project by the name of 'Sockdollager', courtesy of the Ragtime imprint. This one is packed full of original breakbeat energy from start to finish, from the sweeping electronic plains of 'Get Up' and 'The Darkness', to the more house-like textures of 'Gypsy' and 'Uh Oh'.
