SQL is Amsterdam based prodcuer Pim Van Horssen who has previously released on Trapez LTD, Respekt and Chameleon. On the Dimebag Jams EP (for Secret Cinema's GEM Records) he procures three fine examples of sleek and slinky tech house that will appeal to a large cross section of DJs. First track "Dimebag" is definitely intense, with tripped out and adrenalised synth leads that resonate and modulate all over the place leading to one massive crescendo. "Ruby" delves a lot deeper featuring dreamy and euphoric pads and uplifting chords backed by a deep bass and sturdy rhythm. Chameleon's Steve Ward gets onboard to provide a remix for "Dimebag Jams" giving it a stadium sized prog house remix which will totally tear the roof of the place!Get new release alerts
