Italian-in-London Stefano Ritteri first made his name under the Solo pseudonym, where he frequently delivered big, bassbin-bothering house cuts for the likes of Dirtytalk and Great Stuff. These days, the music he makes is a little more cultured, though his love of bold basslines and quirky percussive elements remains. "Nothing Stays The Same", a slick, organ-flecked vocal tune built around swinging beats and a nagging bassline, is arguably his best release to date. It feels deep and atmospheric, but is actually incessantly danceable. Given that Defected have picked it up, it could well turn out to be his biggest dancefloor hit yet.
