Given that he has his own labels and is likely not short of offers from other high-profile imprints, it's a pleasant surprise to find German house legend Steve Bug popping up on Bristol's popular Shall Not Fade imprint. What he's delivered is undoubtedly impressive: a trio of peak-time ready workouts rich in fizzing synth riffs, rumbling bass, glassy-eyed motifs and choice vocal samples. For proof, check the big room-ready 'People's Sound', where a reggae style vocal snippet rises above restless riffs and crunchy drums, and the more spacey, tech-tinged deep house roll of 'Keep Movin'. Closing cut 'To Feel', where glossy synth-strings and bubbly electronic motifs ride a TB-303 style bassline and swinging house drums, is also impressive.Get new release alerts
