We can't help but sit back and admire the run that Four40 have been on of late, with a tonne of back to back releases, each filled with unique flavour and vision, whilst all conforming to the Four40 sound. We here see them introduce Stixy D with four garage originals under the 'White Label' EP title. We begin with the subtle drum switches and chord progressions of 'Cutie Pie', followed by the more deep house inspired rhythms and vocal slices of 'Here I Stand'. The grooves are back in full force next as 'Wake Up' arrives with a bag of bubbling energy, finishing off with the super jiggy hi hat and shaker shuffles of 'Mad Donna'. Tasty stuff indeed!
