It's always a good time when we explore a new Time Is Now drop, who continue their reign of pure power in 2022 with this fabulously vibrant 5-track collection from Stones Taro. Kicking off we launch with 'Integration', a low-ended warbler, focussing on moogy bass tones and popping percussive taps, followed by the acidic pulses and rave-like arpeggios of 'Straight Walk'. From here the shuffling shakers and throwback organ chord stabs of 'Watching You' waft into view, before the much more high energy moogy bass stabs of 'Super Hot Floor' leap around on top of seriously crunchy drum sounds for good measure. Finally, 'Dry Flower' gives us some smooth, chord driven textures to round off the EP, which definitely sits as one of Time Is Now's stronger drops so far this year.Get new release alerts
