Little is known about the producer known as Knives Out, but we can say for certain that this mysterious act is helping Bedrock to mark its 150th release in style. The title track is a subtle affair that builds and breaks in an understated fashion, its irresistibly frosty melodies accompanied by a clicky, stripped back rhythm. Fittingly, Jon Digweed's label has tapped Sasha to remix "Sugarcoat"; the storied DJ picks up the pace by building a throbbing, pulsating arrangement, while reverberating vocals slice their way through spaced out melodies. It's a delectable remix, the icing on the top of this special release.
