Review
Always good to see a new release from St Petersburg nu-disco stalwart Sunner Soul in the pile and this latest three-tracker doesn't disappoint. 'Basement Jam' itself kicks things off, a pleasingly understated roller that builds slowly for nearly a full three minutes before introducing some barely-there vocal snips. 'More You Want' follows, a more obviously peaktime-oriented number with looped soulful vox sitting on a dense bed of pianos, guitars and 'Beefa-friendly whooshing sounds, before the EP closes on a high note with 'Personal Touch', which opts for an altogether more sumptuous and authentically 70s-sounding feel.Get new release alerts
