Review
To date, much of Sunner Soul's output has been released on Vintage Music, an imprint he set up some years back. Kinjo Music boss Dave Allison is clearly a fan, though, as he's snapped up an expansive, six-track EP of summery, melodious deep house from the experienced Russian producer. Highlights include the spacey melodies, hazy chords and groovy rhythms of "Dive With Kate", the chunky, Chez Damier style shuffle of "The Wrap Around", and the drowsy chords, dubby bass, and cymbal-heavy percussion of mid-tempo groover "Labyrinth". Germin provides the obligatory remix of this latter tune, smothering Sunner Soul's original in a wealth of jazzy, beach friendly musical touches.Get new release alerts
