Review
Germany's Sven Weisemann has been keeping a low profile recently and to be honest, we're super psyched that he's back in action. It's not surprising to see him release on Cologne's Telrae Records, given their approximation with suave dub techno and outsider deep house. "Elapse" is a classic Weisemann moment, where shuffling clusters of hi-hats and snares are wound up into a neat packet of tumbling synths and progressive arrangements. "Light Way" is Sven's other side, one which indulges in deeper, more melancholic sonic possibilities. The subtle weight of the kick drum pushes its surrounding melodies for a whole 10 minutes of mutating and unravelling dub-infused pleasure. Mr. Weisemann on top form as usual!Get new release alerts
