Tal Fussman's debut EP for Rekids, Definition, is a spiraling journey through the realms of house and techno. The opening track, "Freedom Defines House", pays homage to classic NY sounds with its big, drummy beats and spoken word vocal, reminiscent of Tenaglia and Vasquez back in the day but infused with modern mix. "The Royal" explores expansive sound design and powerful percussion, incorporating techno influences with soaring staccato strings and stabs, while "Pace" further delves into techno territory with leads and rhythmic filtered hits. Closing the EP is "Even Rome Wasn't Built in a Day", a light yet driving track adorned with anthemic strings.
