Review
While "House On The Left", the latest from San Fran veteran Tal M Klein, is excellent, it's the strong remix package that really makes this a must buy. The original version - a simple but brilliantly effective combination of lazy guitars, midtempo house grooves and nagging piano riffage - is remixed by Bicep, Earwig and Stereo 77. It's the Bicep boys who offer the strongest rework, turning in a smart retro-houser that coolly fuses touchy-feely late night pleasantries with rough acid tweakery. Earwig's rework is all lazy late night groove, while Stereo 77's "Ricanstruction" opts for some midtempo Latin shuffle. Great stuff all round.Get new release alerts
