As always with both Teffa & Breez, the quality level for this latest drop is absolutely through the roof, courtesy of LDH. We begin our dive into this joyous ball of stepper energy with the title track 'Passing Through', which deploys some old school DMZ sounding energies across delicate LFO pulses and shimmering drum pulses, before 'A17' sees Teffa step out on solo duty for a bass-bin-rattling display of synthetic glory. Next, Breez delivers a solo smackdown with the bitcrushed clunks and brass-like bass stabs of 'Upper', before the pair finally combine again on '7 Days' for a haunted finale, dripping in unusual synth shakes and halloween-inspired atmospherics for good measure.
