Review
After causing such as stir with their self-titled 2009 debut album (a Mercury Music Prize nominee, no less), The Invisible have a lot to live up to. Follow-up album Rispah, released earlier this year, is a respectable sophomore set, once again proving their qualities at fusing discordant indie-rock with electronica and freestyle jazz influences. "Generational" is the third single to be taken from the set. This EP presents it in three different forms, with Theo Parrish's epic, 15-minute electronic jazz version (which, of course, features hints of deep house and synth-boogie) standing out. There's also an excellent, Radiohead-ish cover of "The Wall" by Anna Calvi that's almost worth the admission price on its own.Get new release alerts
