The Tubbs are a new project from Hungarian deep house producer Forteba (AKA Kriszti?n Dobrocsi) and partner-in-crime Marcell Dudas (AKA Carmel) and this, their debut long-player, follows two previous singles on Mole Listening Pearls. Obviously with 14 tracks on offer there's some degree of musical variety, but 80s-influenced downtempo/Balearic vibes are the order of the day overall, with cuts ranging from the blissed-out slo-mo funk of 'Give A Little, Take A Little' (one of the two aforesaid trailer singles) to the 'Miami Vice'-ish vibes of 'Better Living Through Chemistry' and livelier cuts like 'Love At Second Sight' (the other single), which has something of an 'Ibiza '89' kinda feel.Get new release alerts
