Martin Iveson has done more than most to support emerging South African talent, going so far as to co-produce Julian Gomes' 2013 debut album The Git of the Curse. Here he hands a debut album to another talented deep house producer from the tip of the African continent, Thee Gobbs. It's a pretty impressive set, all told, with a string of vocalists swinging by to add a big dollop of soul to Thee Gobbs' warm, richy, hazy, organic and occasionally synth-laden deep house, broken beat and downtempo excursions. This digital edition of the album includes a swathe of bonus remixes, with Sean McCabe, TrueSelf, Fish Go Deep and Iveson (under his long standing Atjazz guise) all delivering stellar, club-friendly interpretations.
