For this latest addition to the already exceptional Dubthing catalogue, we see the wonderful sounds of Thing unleashed across a full length album experience, under the title 'Future Beats'. Now, from the jump we would recommend you find time to journey in long play format, allowing the project to take its sonic course and wash over you with it's wave-like textures. It's a beautiful dive into glacial soundscapes and moody electronic hills of solitude, from the gorgeous synthesiser work of the opener 'Forest Swords' to the post-grime drum shakes of 'TV Nation' and introspective half-time rhythms of 'Falling'. This project really does take the listener everywhere, with a couple of individual standouts including the shuffling percussive textures and unpredictable melodies of 'Deep Sorrow', the smooth 2-step bounces of 'False Emotions' and of course the masterful harmonic backdrops of 'Blue Ocean Love.
