Rob Booth was no doubt the man for the job when London clubbing institution fabric was seeking the person best to perform A&R duties for their in house label. Alongside label mates Second Storey, Call Super and Akkord is Ross Tones aka Throwing Snow delivering more unmistakeably UK electronic music that the label is synonymous with. "Xema" is utterly sublime with its dreamy kalimba supported by a broken beat, throbbing bass and soaring pads. It's the perfect combination off deep house and UK bass with neat pop inflections too. "Seren" on the other hand is definitely straight up and suited for the dancefloor with its tight breakbeat riding rich, swirling analogue strings, creating a sweet electro (not electro) groove.
