Amsterdam-based producer Toman returns after an 18-month hiatus with his new EP, Dolce Far Niente on Cecille Records. The EP showcases Toman's distinctive blend of raw, stripped-back house, starting with "Courtyard," where crunchy drums meet plucked bass tones and pulsating subs, layered with his own vocal hooks. "De Bongo Man" shifts to a more tribal vibe, featuring organic percussion and dubbed-out stabs over a resonant low-end groove.
