James Tippett and David Lee aka Tru Fonix are a bass house duo from the UK, with previous releases on This Ain't Bristol, Beating Heart and Disciple Recordings. Their new one comes courtesy of Stanton Warriors' Punks imprint and showcases their knack for sub pushing beats that 'cannot be fully appreciated streamed from a smartphone'. From the bumpy, low-end driven electro house o "Head Bop" reminiscent of Will Clarke, the remix up next by Plump DJ nails that druggy/wonky UK breaks sound.
