TSHA's Ninja Tune debut, last year's collaboration-packed Flowers EP, left all who heard it longing for more music from the London-based DJ/producer. The good news is that OnlyL, her relatively speedy follow-up, is every bit as impressive as its predecessor. She gets right to the point on attractive, sing-along opener 'OnlyL', where Nimmo shares vocal duties above a bouncy, energetic house beat, bubbling electronics, stirring chords and sustained, impactful bass notes. She ratchets things up a notch on EP standout 'Power', a Brit-Funk-sampling slab of sub-heavy, percussion-rich carnival house, before opting for a deeper, lusher and more sun-kissed sound on the relaxed, sunset-ready goodness of 'I Know'.
