Review
Hot on the heels of releases for Rekids and Suara, Uncertain now drops this high-octane release on Mark Broom's label. The title track starts the EP in frenetic mode. Centred on an insistent rhythm and driving percussion, the arrangement is peppered with vocal snatches and relentless stabs. "Bullet" continues in a similar vein. Led by steely hi hats and tough tribal drums, it also features ominous chords that recall vintage Dave Clarke. That style is also audible on "Defense", where Uncertain drops a piledriving percussive rhythm, with ominous chords rolling in over the arrangement. "Cut" rounds off the release in dance floor mode - disco filters are fused with a grainy groove to cause maximum impact.Get new release alerts
