Vladimir Dubyshkin follows last year's Budni Nashego Kolhoza release on Trip with an EP that's inspired by Russia's 90s porn industry. On the self-explanatory "Russian Porn Magazine", a firing, relentless rhythm underpins insistent screeches and dense chord stabs. It's grittier than the tranced out synth-led "The Return of the Drunken Son", but Dubyshkin returns to similar jacking territory on "Driving The Bus". In spite of the release's theme, the pounding kicks, propulsive hi hats and intense synth stabs on "Deaf Artist" sounds more inspired by Thomas Heckmann's 90s techno-trance than by adult films, while on "Company of 302s", Dubyshkin shows his electro credentials with sharp percussion and rolling 808s.Get new release alerts
