Not much info on this one, other than it marks the debut (as far as we know, anyway) of Lithuanian deep house producer Wasted Gaze. If it is his debut, it's certainly an impressive one. Opener "Untitled State of Mind", for example, seems to sit somewhere between classic and contemporary deep house, with sounds, melodies and atmospherics that suggest a deep love of futuristic Detroit techno. "Untitled State Of America" goes for a Detroit deep house/beatdown approach (superbly executed, with jazz keys and samples reminiscent of early Moodymann), while "Untitled State Of Africa" expertly fuses loose-limbed Afro-beat groovery with woozy deepness.Get new release alerts
