It would be a mistake to assume that Perlon founder Zip aka Thomas Franzmann's sets consist solely of material from his label, but it would be an even graver error to think that the German DJ specialises in hamster fart-sounding minimal house. Instead, while this mix does put a focus on the weird and tripped out, it also delivers a wide range of house and techno. From the jacking groove of Nail's "Till The Feelings Gone", to the woozy jazz of G Marcell and Jovonn's tracks and the glorious, abstract techno from Terrence Dixon and Kenny Larkin, this as sublime, groovy and downright out there as dance music gets.
