Zoo Look have released on an array of respected underground labels including Lost Palms and E-Beamz - now they bring their deeply melodic take on house music to the seminal Permanent Vacation. The title track is a great example of their approach, with lush strings combined with a subtle, undulating groove. "Lovetrip" is more in keeping with the classic US house sound and is more dance floor focused, as the duo layer soulful vocal samples over sublime, dreamy synths. "This Here Paradise" has a similar albeit slightly deeper feel, with Zoo Look dropping spaced out melodies over an understated, pulsating groove.
