Review: ZTEREN Recordings are a dirty Neurofunk label and they don't mess about. Stargate Volume 3 is their latest VA EP and it features Xeomi & Kaiza, Syrinx, Fortitude and Carbone, all of whom contribute sonics that are both dark and dastardly - this one isn't for the faint-hearted. Xeomi & Kaiza's 'Screwdriver' is the best, a deliciously fluid piece of production that choops and changes constantly with daring percussive flips and pointed bass stabs. The rest of the release is equally dark and there are parts where the production could possibly be improved - still an excellent release nonetheless.
