Review: In the 12 years since he unfurled acclaimed debut album Clarence Park, one-man electronica factory Chris Clark has produced a vast body of work. He's been particularly busy on the remix front, completing a huge array of reworks. It's this work that makes up the vast majority of Feast/Beast, a remix retrospective (which, curiously, also includes some notable reworks of his material) split into two distinct halves. The first disc, Feast, focuses on the more melodic, other-worldly end of his output, delivering wide-eyed remixes of Amon Tobin, Kuedo and, most beautiful of all, Silverman. Beast, the second disc, moves into darker, tougher territory, joining the dots between techno, bass music, vintage hardcore and wonk-hop thanks to notable versions of Massive Attack, Maximo Park and Depeche Mode.

Review: Amazingly, it's 25 years since George 'E.A.S.E' Evelyn and then production partner Kevin 'Boy Wonder' Harper sat down and recorded "Dextrous", their monstrous, bleep-era classic on Warp. A quarter of a century later, Evelyn is still going strong, though the grooves have mellowed a lot in that time. Here, Warp celebrate the producer's epic career with a much-deserved retrospective. All the familiar favourites are present, from the rush-inducing thrill of early dancefloor smashers "I'm For Real" and "Aftermath", to the sinewy downtempo goodness of the decidedly Balearic "Les Nuits", the blazed hip-hop dub of "195 Llbs" and stoner soul of "70s 80s". This version also includes a number of exclusive remixes, with names like JD Twitch, Special Request, LFO, Morgan Geist and Loco Dice putting their own spin on this classic material.

Review: Warp Records present the sixth album by famed American producer Flying Lotus. For the Flamagra LP, the Los Angeles-based artist (real name Steven Ellison) said that he had gathered different material from over the past five years to present on this LP - and he had considered creating a thematic album with a fire concept during that time. A wide selection of moods and grooves are delivered in his idiosyncratic and multifaceted style, with a real 'who's who' in terms of guests. From the blunted urban flavour of "More" (ft. Anderson .Paak), the lo-slung P-funk attack of "Burning Down The House" (ft. George Clinton) through to more abstract soundscape/spoken word pieces like "Fire Is Coming" featuring the one and only David Lynch (this one was said to be a huge influence on the album's aesthetic, Ellison said) and also the good old fashioned soul power of "The Climb" (ft. Thundercat).

Review: Every time that wear the news that a new Rustie album is on the way, our in-house bass nerds start pacing around the Juno HQ like headless chickens. That is simply because Rustie never fails to deliver the goods, and his work is in a constant state of flux, changing mood and influences with each new step. Evenifudontbelieve comes through London's mighty Warp Records, of course, and the sounds within are even more diverse and explorative than his previous works; yes, we know, a bold statement. However, it is clear that Rustie has decided to go into true excursion mode with this new LP, blurring the lines between pop, dance, and alternative electronica; a delicious cocktail of electronics that results in a wide-eyed, cinematic journey for both the listeners and the club dwellers. In fact, we believe this to be the perfect music for the day after a big party; believe us, it's tried and tested!

Review: Given that it's been eight years since the last Boards of Canada album, Tomorrow's Harvest should, by rights, push Daft Punk's Random Access Memories in the hype stakes. Certainly, it's a fine set. During their sabbatical, Marcus Eoin and Michael Sandison have lost none of their power to amaze and impress. Chords drone, samples hiss, synths shimmer and beats swing. There are intense ambient moments and intoxicating, post-IDM dreamscapes. It is in turns icy, warm, introspective and blindingly picturesque. Throughout, Tomorrow's Harvest is impeccably atmospheric, conjuring images of windswept Scottish moors, becalmed Cornish bays and maudlin pagan ceremonies. As comeback records go, it's pretty darn good.
