Review: Selecta! Sub-liminal bossman Agro rolls his sleeves up and gets stuck into his label vaults, drawing out persys and reminding us just how on it his label has been since morning. Ranging from the twisted bass bubbles and trippy warped sounds of Warhead's 'Tread Carefully' to the interplanetary bleep drama and sweet bubbling subs of Kumo's 'Trick Shot', Agro is explicitly telling us how versatile and timeless his label has always been. With some of these cuts going back to the 2016/17, he's proved it. Get stuck in!
Review: Get yourself an amen, sample some Nas, job done. The first track on this hard hitting release from three of the jungle scene's most unsung upcoming heroes does exactly that, and why not? This attitude of balls-out madness continues into "Flip It", with a fevered jungle explosion of epic proportions. What a bass sound too - like a huge, fuzzy heartbeat pumping riddims out your speakers and smashing up your dancefloors. Yeah, it's fun and it's cheeky but who said D&B had to be stony faced all the time?

Review: Russian D&Bster Lion and owner of SLK Records steps up with his 14-track album, featuring collaborations with the likes of Nelver, Bassoff, Lost Generation, DJ Rastr and White Shadow. From opener "Japan 2011" with its mournful strings and gently lilting liquid breaks through the gratuitously heavy, pumping techstep influenced cuts like "Atlantida" and "Vostok", to the experimentalism of "Premonitions" and straight up dancefloor bangers like "Invasion" and "July", there really is something for everyone in this package. Check the quirky lyrics on "Eti Stroki" whilst you're at it!
