Review: If you like to get down with the underground, in those dark and sweaty, smoked filled rooms.. then there is no doubt that the output on the legendary Bonzai is your ear candy. Here on their progressive arm they drop a typically twisted bomb from The Idem. The Original has an abyss like depth that will throw you into a musical washing machine (in a good way), while Planisphere bring more of a dance-floor approach on their show stopping remix. Complete with eerie stabs, a cool spoken vocal, and a constantly bubbling melody. The best tracks of this ilk shine through simplicity, and this is perfect example of that.. Time to get twisty!!

Review: We have had our ears and eyes on relative newcomer Denis Sender and his COF releases for all of this year, and it seems he is playing homage to a great 12 months with a retrospectively titled track '2011'. If you were into his previous productions like; 'Sunburst', 'One Day', 'About Love', this will definitely do the damage for you again. And if you are yet to know, its time to listen up. An uplifting power riff steals the show on the electro induced Damian Wasse remix, with a rasping bottom end and gritty percussion. In contrast the Original floats a little lighter, while Felix Young fittingly bangs it out on his cut making it an all-round 'ticks all the boxes' package

Review: Launching over 6 years ago out of New York, Curve Recordings has been home to everyone from David Guetta to D.Ramierz and here they present the first EP of 2012 to introduce who will be sound-tracking the label over the coming year. The six songs on offer all sit somewhere between progressive, and electro with plenty of vocals and crossover potential dusted throughout. Hightlights for us come from; Kenneth Thomas on 'All I Have' featuring Jaidene Veda, and 'A Little Rush' from Christopher Lawrence, that said there are plenty more that will raise above the parapet from Ad Brown, Nino Anthony, and Tall Sasha.

Review: If ever there was a poll for best producer name, this guy would definitely come out on top. Review: Miami-based Argentinian Sebastien Silva follows up great releases on Vertex, Serendipity and Deep State with a return to the Pillar label for another serving of high calibre progressive house. On the 3620 EP, lose yourself in the mesmerising dancefloor drama of the title track, which is awash in a breathtaking array of melodies, sublime atmospherics and a captivating female vocal throughout. Second offering "Paix" is more straighywahead but definitely on a moodier vibe with its hypnotic groove.

Review: Its party time for the long weekend, and here is the perfect crowd pleaser to let rip on the housey and mainstream floors out there. With more than a nod to the Swedish trio, what this big riff moment from The 8th Note may lack somewhat in originality, it more than makes up for in its dancefloor appeal and crazy amount of energy it brings. Built around an epic trance lead that builds like a sky-scrapper and backed by a thumping kick. For something a little 'cooler' albeit with same heavy electro influences, get into the Leventina remix.
