Review: While they have remixed one another in the past, this release on Claude Von Stroke's label is the first time that he has produced together with Catz 'n Dogz. Fans of both artists are sure to find much to love here: the title track is a driving affair that features deft filters, insistent bleeps and an infectious vocal chant that will lift even the gloomiest audience. In contrast, "How I Make You Feel" is a deeper cut; while also deploying a vocal sample, the arrangement is based on dubbed out drums and crisp percussion, which provide the basis for swirling synth textures

Review: To mark the passing of two decades since they first joined forces in the studio, Polish pair (and Pets Recordings founders) Catz N Dogz have put together this 20-track retrospective. A kind of starter-pack for their career to date, it boasts all of their most successful and celebrated tracks, collaborations and remixes. There's much to set the pulse racing throughout - it's a 'greatest hits' collection after all - with our current favourites including the pair's sub-heavy, 21st century hip-hop revision of Chucky 73 ('Bzrp 43'), the all action, rave-igniting rush of the duo's revision of their Thomas Schumacher hook-up 'Hush', the saucer-eyed loveliness of their Bicep hook-up ('The Game'), an insanely acidic interpretation of Marlena Shaw classic 'The Ghetto', and their early, influential revision of Claude VonStroke's 'Who's Afraid of Detroit'.

Review: The list of remixers involved in this reworked version of Catz 'N' Dogz 2015 album Basic Colour Theory makes interesting reading. While the Polish duo has called on some big-name pals - Claude VonStroke, Fred Everything and Jamie Jones, for starters - they've also recruited some more left-of-centre talents, including Psychmagik and Polish contemporaries P'taki. The variety and depth of talent shines through from the start, with Fulton's synth-boogie interpretation of "Good Touch" making way for a lusciously deep and electronic mix of "Nobody Cares" by Karizma. Elsewhere, highlights include a rubbery tech-house take on "The Joy" from Anja Schneider, some sweaty, late night business from Eats Everything and Skudge, and Matthew Herbert's thrillingly wonky, Isolee style revision of "Good Touch".
